Some services are fully automated (crypto-asset categorisation, white paper generation, ESG compliance, LEI/DTI generation, due diligence); others remain lawyer-led (legal opinions, bespoke advice). Timely: MiCAR grandfathering period ended 1 July 2026.
Reed Smith Legal Solutions (RSLS) launched July 2026 as a unified business unit consolidating the firm's alternative legal services, legal operations, technology and delivery capabilities — including Staff Attorneys, RED, Leeds Global Solutions and Gravity Stack — into a single integrated platform. Gravity Stack (est. 2018, rebranded 2025 with GenAI focus) remains the core technology-product arm within RSLS, building data-led solutions licensed to clients and other firms.
